Hooters Pageant and Women's Conference Goes Beyond the Orange Shorts

Hooters Pageant and Women's Conference Goes Beyond the Orange Shorts

15th Jun 2018

Mehron took over the faces of the Hooters Girls for the company's annual pageant and calendar shoots. 80 Hooters Girls from around the world gathered together to participate as contestants and embark on a journey of a lifetime. Lead artist Kathy Moberly invited us to help her amazing team create flawless makeup looks that lasted endless hours under the hot sun, impressed behind the lens of discerning cameras, and took center stage. It was an incredible experience. Behind the scenes you could feel a fabulous energy that was fueled by passion and hard work.

While Hooters is known for beautiful waitresses that wear iconic shirts and shorts, this week was about so much more than aesthetics. The company didn't just focus on photography and the pageant, it created events and activities designed to empower women. Mehron's Creative Director, Stephanie Koutikas, attended the company's International Pageant and Women's Conference, where she was a guest speaker.

"It was an honor to meet all the smart, confident and beautiful contestants and share my experience of Girl Power within the beauty industry," says Koutikas.

Here is a peek from our week with the newest Mehron Girls. Girl Power!
