Good Witch Makeup for Halloween - Step by Step Tutorial

24th Oct 2018

Looking to be a glittery, good witch for Halloween? Then check out this makeup tutorial from Corie Willet aka @twistinbangs. She uses our new The Gypsy Shrine Face & Body Makeup Palette with Jewel Set along with other Mehron and Gypsy Shrine products to create a shimmery witch awash in pink, silver metallics, and gorgeous gems. Watch the video to see how she transforms herself into this magical creature. We have included step-by-step directions beneath the video for easy reference.

1.Adhere They Gypsy Shrine Desert Jewels to the top of the shoulders, neck, and middle of the chest.

2. Combine Silver Metallic Powder with Mixing Liquid. Use the mixture to outline all of the jewels you applied to the neck to create a glow.

3.Using the Pink from the palette, outline the jewels that are on the chest and neck. Then, layer the Silver Metallic Powder mixture on top. Do the same to the jewels on the shoulders, dragging the Pink and Silver down the arm, to make it appear as if the jewels are melting.

4.Next, highlight the Pink and Silver with glitter. We suggest using Mehron's Paradise Glitter in Silver, adhering it with AdGem. Use a brush to apply the AdGem to the body, then dip the brush into the Glitter and apply the Glitter to the body.

5.Dot around the edges of the highlights, and wherever you see fit, with the White Paradise Makeup AQ from the palette to fill in the design.

6.Randomly place silver stars (Corie purchased hers from a craft store) using Liquid Latex.

7.Back to the face. Contour the cheekbones, above the brow bone and around the jawline with iNtense Pro Pressed Pigments in Tornado. Add a bit of pink eye shadow to highlight the Tornado shade. We recommend using iNtense Pro in Hot Pink.

8.Set your face with Celebré Pro HD Loose Finishing Powder in Translucent.

9.Apply PRIMED Eye Primer to the eye lids up to the browbone. Follow with Precious Gem Powder in Champagne.

10.Create winged liner with 1927 Liquid Vinyl Makeup and apply E.Y.E Lashes.

11.Add a pink matte lip color. We recommend L.I.P Cream in Ballet Flats. Then apply iNtense Pro in Tornado to the corners of the lips for depth.

12.Line underneath the eye with the Tornado and wing the color out.

13.Time for the face jewels. Corie used the Iridescent Aura Face Jewel, which is an option with the The Gypsy Shrine Face & Body Makeup Palette with Jewel Set.

14.Using the Pink from the palette, draw random lines halfway down the cheeks from the face jewels. Layer the combined Silver Metallic Powder and Mixing Liquid over the Pink. Draw Pink and Silver lines also coming up from the top jewel on the face. Add the accent dots with the White from the palette and the Silver Glitter as you did for the chest. Complete the face with the silver stars adhered with Liquid Latex.
