Cool Festival Makeup Perfect for Halloween

Cool Festival Makeup Perfect for Halloween

5th Oct 2018

Music festival season may be over, but that doesn't mean you have to wait until next spring or summer to wear cool festival makeup. With Halloween just around the corner, you have another excuse to break out the glitter and gems to create a look that exudes relaxed vibes, like this one from Rigo Yepiz. Watch the video below to see how he uses our new Gypsy Shrine Face & Body Makeup Palette with Jewel Set, along with other products, to transform into total tribal awesomeness. We have included step-by-step directions below the video for easy reference.

Cool Festival Makeup Step-by-Step Directions

1. Start by prepping skin with Skin Prep Pro.

2. Next, foundation. Apply a shade of Celebré Pro HD Cream Foundation that complements your skin tone using a dampened Face Smoothie.

3. Using the Celebré Pro HD Conceal It palette and a brush, highlight the high points of the face. Blend with the Face Smoothie.

4. Now it's time for contouring. Use shades from the Cream Celebré Pro HD Contour/Highlight Palette to start sculpting the face. Blend once again with the Face Smoothie.

5. Time to bake. Apply Celebré Pro Loose Mineral Finishing Powder everywhere you applied concealer to prevent creasing and add a bit of highlight.

6. Set the cream contouring with the Powder Celebré Pro HD Contour/Highlight Palette. Apply it everywhere you put the cream contouring.

7. Use a big, fluffy brush to wipe away all the powder, applying it all over the face to make makeup last longer.

8. Using a big brush, apply Ocean Breeze from the iNtense Pro Pressed Powder Pigments Wind Palette, to create a mask around the eye from the center of the forehead to the lids and across the bridge of the nose. Then apply Hurricane Blue from the palette across the eyes, lids, brows and nose to deepen the color.

9. Apply Conceal It to the lid to create a cut crease. Then set with E.Y.E Powder Shimmer in Antique Gold and apply E.Y.E Powder Shimmer in Winter Frost to the corner of the eye. Blend the two colors together using the Hurricane Blue.

10. Go crazy with highlight. Highlight the high points of the cheeks, cupid's bow, tip of the nose and the whole nose with Highlight Pro Cool Palette

11. Adhere Gypsy Shrine Easy Tiger gems from the Gypsy Shrine Face & Body Makeup Palette with Jewel Set as in the image below. Using the White Paradise Makeup AQ from the palette, draw random lines around the cheeks. Then dot the White down the nose, from the outer eye to the temple, down the chin, and on the forehead directly above the jewels. Follow with the blues and pinks from the palette to make everything more colorful and make the jewels and eyes pop.

12. Now the neck. Paint random lines dots using colors you want from the palette.
