Michelle's journey into makeup and theater began during her collegiate years. She was involved in various theater productions, dance teams, show choirs, and opera productions, which all required different types of makeup applications. After college, Michelle continued performing professionally in regional union houses and started experimenting with contour and different types of age applications throughout various stage productions. However, it wasn't until she became interested in cosplay that she really got to explore character makeup.

Michelle's introduction to Mehron products began with Paradise Makeup AQ™ for a genderbent Joker cosplay and a Nebula cosplay. She needed a product that was easy to apply, had an opaque coverage that would last throughout the day, and was not harmful to her skin. Paradise Makeup AQ™ met all those criteria and was also versatile enough to be layered, blended, or used with different amounts of water for light or full coverage. Michelle has also found that
Paradise performs exceptionally well on top of prosthetics, helping her achieve even coverage that stays consistent all day.

Michelle's creativity is inspired by observing what others are doing and finding ways to put her own spin on projects. She loves to experiment and scrap/redo projects as needed and gives herself plenty of time to do so. However, like many artists, Michelle has faced her share of challenges, including rejection and fear of judgment. She advises other creatives to remember why they create, to hold tight to the joy and fulfillment it provides, and to stay true to their unique style of creativity.

During the pandemic, Michelle launched a non-profit organization called "Capes For A Cos" dedicated to creating custom, adaptive cosplay costumes for children with physical and developmental disabilities. This has been one of the most rewarding artistic ventures of her life to date.

Michelle's journey as an artist is a testament to the power of creativity and the importance of staying true to one's unique vision and talents. She is a true inspiration to anyone who is pursuing their creative dreams, and we can't wait to see what she creates next.
